🎯 NDA 2026 Eligibility Criteria
1️⃣ Nationality
Candidate must be:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention to settle permanently.
2️⃣ Age Limit & Date of Birth
For NDA 1 2026, candidates must be born between 2 July 2007 and 1 July 2010 (both dates inclusive).
👉 In short: your age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years at the time of joining.
> 📌 Note: Candidates older than 19.5 years or younger than 16.5 years on the date of commencement of training are not eligible.
3️⃣ Educational Qualification
Wing Qualification
Army Wing Passed 12th Class (or appearing) from any recognized board
Air Force & Naval Wings Passed 12th Class (or appearing) with Physics & Mathematics
10+2 Cadet Entry (Naval Academy) 12th Class Pass with Physics & Maths
> Students appearing in 12th Class in 2026 are also eligible to apply.
4️⃣ Marital Status & Gender
Only unmarried male & female candidates can apply.
Candidates must remain unmarried till the completion of training.
5️⃣ Physical Fitness & Medical Standards
Candidate must be physically fit as per NDA standards.
Minimum height:
Male – 157 cm
Female – 152 cm
No permanent tattoos (except on inner forearm).
Candidate should have good eyesight, hearing, and general health.
Overweight or underweight candidates may be disqualified.
